Bespoke Support / Mentoring
Following the publication of the Careers Strategy in December 2017 and the Statutory Guidance in January 2018 schools have a duty to ensure each secondary school has a careers leader in post. For many schools this will be a new post and the appointee may well be unfamiliar with the pedagogy of careers learning, the management of such a wide ranging department, the ways schools work or any other of the various aspects of being a careers leader.
This bespoke service supports the setting up, management and improvement of the careers department and CPD for careers leaders and/or tutors.
It can be commissioned in various ways:
- A one day whistle stop getting started overview delivered face to face. £550
- Ongoing support via phone, Skype or email to be accessed at mutually convenient times available in 3 hour blocks at £210 each or for up to 35 hours support over the space of 1 academic year at the rate of £1600
The advantage of the latter method is that time can be split between instruction/mentoring and tailoring of the offer to the school.
