What does a careers adviser do all day?

Following on from the posts last week In Defence of Careers Advisers & Does it have to be education vs CEIAG?. One of my contacts Lizzie Taylor, Find her on Twitter as @LizzieTaylor20, has written an excellent piece on the roles and duties of a school careers adviser. It is published on the Careers England website as Policy Briefing 13 and can be found here I suggest you have this with you next time somebody asks you what a careers adviser does... she's done a fine job laying it out clearly. So for once I'm going to say nothing more apart from;- "When you've read it, show it to the head!"
